# 5.1 From concept to model

Selmo Studio is the environment in which the logical idea from the PTF principle becomes the concrete, functioning model.\
Here meet the **process**, the **technology** and the **functions** come together.\
What previously existed as a paper or conceptual model is formalized and represented digitally here.

Work is done in two separate but linked layers:

1. **Logic Layer** – the switching mechanism, i.e. the sequence of states.
2. **System Layer** – the zones, i.e. the linking of logic with the real or virtual technology.

Both layers together form the SEQ, the deterministic machine model.
